  • 2 (6 oz) canschunk light tuna in water
  • 1flatbread or naan

baking sheet pan · can opener · chef's knife · cutting board · measuring cups · measuring spoons · mixing bowls · oven mitts · stirring spoon

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F.
  2. On a baking sheet, brush a flatbread with olive oil, season with garlic powder, salt, pepper, and dried rosemary, then sprinkle with half of the Italian cheese. Bake until the edges are crisp, about 8–10 minutes.
  3. Rinse and finely dice the celery; place it in a small bowl.
  4. Drain the tuna and break it up with a fork. Add the tuna to the celery along with mayonnaise, Caesar dressing, and a pinch of salt; stir until combined.
  5. Prepare the tomatoes by washing, drying, and trimming the tops. Slice from the top toward the base to form wedges, but leave the bottom intact; lightly salt the cut sides.
  6. Once the bread is crispy, remove it from the oven and cut it crosswise into 2-inch strips for breadsticks.
  7. Pile the tuna salad into each tomato wedge and arrange on plates. Serve with the cheesy rosemary breadsticks on the side.

Two tips

  • Prep the celery and tuna salad up to a day ahead and refrigerate.
  • If you don’t have Italian cheese, use another shredded cheese you have on hand.
