Recipe submissions
The backup tool sends the links, text or files you submit to a server function for processing. Public recipe pages may be fetched to read their content. The function returns the result to your browser; the application does not save submissions as a recipe library or associate them with an account.
Website hosting providers may process normal request information needed to operate the service. Do not upload account credentials or information you do not want processed.
Browser storage
The switch checklist saves checked steps in local storage on your device. You can clear them by clearing this website’s browser data. Recipe downloads are saved when you choose to download them.
This site uses PostHog analytics to understand visits and interactions, including recipe previews, backup downloads, campaign video engagement and app-store link clicks. Campaign events identify which page variation was used. It also uses the Google tag (Google Analytics and Google Ads) to measure visits and the results of our ads; Google may set cookies for this.
If you subscribe to the weekly newsletter, we use your email address to send it (through our email provider, Sender). Newsletter forms appear on most pages; every email has an unsubscribe link.
The MealPot app
The app has a separate privacy policy. Links to app stores and other providers take you to services with their own privacy practices.
