QUICK ANSWER
325°F = 163°C (recipes round to 160°C, fan 140°C, gas 3). 350°F = 177°C (180°C, fan 160°C, gas 4). 400°F = 204°C (200°C, fan 180°C, gas 6). Formula: °C = (°F − 32) × 5 ⁄ 9.

“Recipe °C” rounds to the nearest 10 degrees, the way European and Australian recipes print temperatures. Ovens are rarely accurate to better than ±10°C anyway, so either column cooks the same.

Fan, convection and air fryer temperatures.
A fan (convection) oven moves hot air, so it cooks faster at the same setting. Lower the temperature by 20°C, or about 25°F, from a conventional recipe — or keep the temperature and check 5–10 minutes early. Air fryers are small convection ovens: the same 25°F reduction is a sensible start, and food usually finishes in about 20% less time.
Common questions.
What is 325°F in Celsius?
163°C exactly. Recipes round it to 160°C (UK recipes sometimes say 170°C), which is 140°C in a fan oven or gas mark 3.
What is 350°F in Celsius?
177°C exactly; recipes print 180°C, or 160°C fan, gas mark 4. It is the most common baking temperature.
What is 180°C in Fahrenheit?
356°F exactly. US recipes use 350°F for the same setting.
What is 200°C in Fahrenheit?
392°F exactly; use 400°F. In a fan oven 200°C conventional becomes 180°C.
How do I convert Fahrenheit to Celsius?
Subtract 32, multiply by 5, divide by 9. For a quick estimate: subtract 30 and halve — 350°F becomes about 160°C, close enough to check against the chart.
Should I lower the temperature for a fan oven?
Yes, by about 20°C (25°F), or keep the recipe temperature and start checking earlier.
