1. Open Meals Hub

In any Albertsons Companies store app, tap the More icon in the bottom-right corner, then Meals Hub. On a computer, choose your store in the store picker and you are sent to that store’s Meals Hub page.

Can’t see it? Update the app first; Meals Hub not working has more checks.

2. Sign in

Meals Hub uses your store account (the phone number or email you shop with), not your Mealime login. A store account is free to create. See Meals Hub login.

3. Set your diet and dislikes

Mealime says dietary preferences are chosen and managed in your Meals Hub profile after you sign in. Albertsons’ help page lists the eating styles: classic, vegetarian, vegan, keto-friendly, paleo-friendly, carb-conscious, flexitarian and pescatarian, plus allergies such as shellfish, gluten, peanut, soy and dairy, and foods you dislike.

4. Pick the week

Browse or filter the recipe library and add meals to your plan. To use up what is in the fridge, search for one or more ingredients and Meals Hub lists recipes that use them. Every recipe shows nutrition details.

Two things work differently from what many planners offer: published reviews report servings of 2, 4 or 6 only, and meals are a set for the week rather than assigned to days. Our Meals Hub review covers both.

5. Shop the ingredients

Open a recipe and tap Add ingredients to My List to build a digital list for an in-store trip, or add the ingredients to your cart. Recipe ingredients and other groceries can share one cart, and you can remove anything you already have while building the cart or at checkout. Pickup or delivery is chosen at checkout where your store offers it.

More detail, including shopping at a store outside Albertsons Companies, is in the Meals Hub grocery list.

6. Cook

Your planned recipes are under My Meals on the Meals Hub home screen. Cooking mode walks through each step with built-in timers. In hands-free mode you wave a hand over the front camera to move to the next screen; Albertsons notes this excludes certain Samsung devices.
