Directions

  1. 1. Prep all produce: wash the napa cabbage, onion, garlic, and ginger, then dry and slice as directed.
  2. 2. Brown the beef: heat a skillet over medium-high, add oil, and cook the ground beef, breaking it apart until it’s browned and crumbly; season with salt and pepper, then transfer to a bowl and set aside.
  3. 3. Mince aromatics: peel and finely mince the garlic and ginger, and thinly slice the onion.
  4. 4. Sauté aromatics: return the skillet to medium heat with a little oil, add onion, garlic, and ginger, and cook until fragrant, about 2 minutes.
