Directions
- Rinse and dry the fresh produce, then dice the celery and onion.
- Heat a sauté pan over medium heat and add a splash of olive oil to coat the bottom.
- Add the celery and onion to the pan and cook, stirring often, until softened, about 4 to 5 minutes.
- Mince the garlic and chop the rosemary leaves, discarding the stems; mix the garlic with the rosemary.
- Stir the garlic, rosemary, and a pinch of crushed red pepper into the pan and cook until fragrant, 1 to 2 minutes.
- Pour in the chickpeas and their liquid, then add the tomatoes and broth; stir to combine and season with salt and pepper.
- Tumble in the pasta, stirring to coat it with the sauce; simmer until the pasta is tender and the sauce has thickened, following package directions (about 8 to 12 minutes).
- When ready, spoon the pasta and sauce into bowls and serve.
