Cookware
baking sheet pan · chef's knife · colander · cutting board · measuring spoons · oven mitts · toaster (optional) · tongs
Directions
- If you’re using the oven, preheat to broil on high and place the rack in the upper third; if you’re toasting, you can skip this step.
- Split the muffins and arrange them on a baking sheet; broil, flipping halfway, until the tops are lightly toasted, about 2 minutes. If you’re using a toaster, simply toast until golden.
- Wash the blueberries and pat them dry.
- Distribute the cream cheese over the cut sides of the muffin halves in an even layer.
- Top each cream cheese-covered half with an equal amount of blueberries.
- Drizzle honey over the blueberries on each muffin half, distributing evenly.
- Arrange the muffin halves on plates and serve promptly.
Two tips
- Let the cream cheese sit at room temperature for a few minutes to spread more easily.
- If you like, finish with a light extra drizzle of honey when serving.
