Ingredients

  • 1banana
  • 1 (1 inch) pieceginger root
  • 1 (15 oz) canpure pumpkin purée
  • 12 fl ozwhole milk
  • bananas

Directions

  1. 1) Rinse the ginger, dry it, then peel and mince it. Transfer to the blender.
  2. 2) Peel a banana, cut it into chunks, and add to the blender.
  3. 3) Add the pumpkin purée, milk, maple syrup, spices, and four ice cubes to the blender.
  4. 4) Blend on high until the mixture is smooth and evenly blended.
  5. 5) Pour the smoothie into glasses and sprinkle a little cinnamon on top.
  6. 6) Serve right away and enjoy.

Two tips

  • Prep tip: wash and mince the ginger ahead of time and refrigerate until ready to blend.
  • Leftover idea: refrigerate the smoothie for up to 1 day; stir before serving and add a splash of milk if needed.
