Directions
- Slice the mushrooms thinly after washing and drying them.
- Warm a skillet over medium-high heat until hot.
- Melt butter in the pan and swirl to coat; add the mushrooms and ground chicken with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook, breaking up the meat, until browned and crumbly about 5 minutes.
- Sprinkle flour over the mixture and cook while stirring for about 1 minute until lightly golden.
- Stir in the milk and Worcestershire sauce; bring to a simmer, then reduce heat and simmer, stirring occasionally, until the gravy thickens, 2–3 minutes.
- Wash and dry the orange, then cut into wedges.
- Toast the buns if you like, spoon the gravy onto the buns, and serve with orange wedges on the side.
