These roll-ups pair crisp apple with melty mozzarella and salty prosciutto in a simple, handheld bite. They work well for a quick weeknight snack or light lunch.

Ingredients

  • 1Gala apple
  • ¼ (8 oz) blockmozzarella cheese
  • 4 slicesprosciutto
  • Gala apples

Directions

  1. Prepare the apple: rinse, pat dry, remove the core, and cut the fruit into eight wedges.
  2. Slice the mozzarella into eight thin pieces.
  3. Cut each prosciutto slice lengthwise in half to create eight strips.
  4. At the end of each prosciutto strip, place one apple wedge and one cheese slice, then roll up the wrap.
  5. Set each finished roll on a plate as you complete them.
  6. Repeat with all eight portions until none remain.
  7. Serve the roll-ups on a platter and enjoy immediately.
  8. If you like, arrange them on a plate and eat them while they’re fresh.

  • Tip: to keep the apples from browning, toss the wedges with a light squeeze of lemon juice before assembling.
