Mealime’s closing notice (mealime.com/closing), the Mealime App Store listing, and the user discussion on r/mealime. We publish this independently — MealPot is a meal-planning app, and we rebuilt all 1,676 Mealime recipes in our recipe archive so they keep working after the shutdown.
Is Mealime really shutting down?
Yes — the closing date is 21 October 2026, from Mealime’s own notice. It was announced on 2 September 2026.
What replaces Mealime?
Meals Hub, inside Albertsons-owned grocery apps, gets the recipe catalogue. Mealime’s notice does not describe a full account transfer; save personal favourites and plans separately.
Can I still get the recipes after the shutdown?
The catalogue continues in Meals Hub, and we host all ${total.toLocaleString()} recipes rebuilt in our archive. Mealime does not promise that your personal favourites list transfers. Search the catalogue by name or try our link finder if you kept links.
